A suspected strike by an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) in Pakistan's Pastawana region has killed one person and wounded six others, according to local reporting.

Seven people were brought to a hospital in the aftermath of the incident. Among them was a woman who had been gravely wounded. She later died of her injuries.

The reported attack follows earlier accounts in Pakistani media describing four UAVs launched from the Afghan side.
